An unforgettable three-day safari combining two of Tanzania’s most iconic national parks with a unique wildlife encounter at Serval Wildlife. The perfect journey for those wishing to experience the very best of Northern Tanzania. Day 1. Tarangire National Park At approximately 05:00 AM (depending on your hotel’s location), your private transfer will pick you up and take you to Zanzibar Airport. At 08:00 AM, you will depart for mainland Tanzania, flying into Arusha Airport - the country’s main safari airport and the gateway to Tanzania’s famous Northern Safari Circuit. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your professional safari ranger-guide in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle, and your adventure begins immediately. Your first destination is Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s most picturesque national parks, renowned for its magnificent ancient baobab trees, vast savannahs and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. The Tarangire River attracts thousands of animals throughout the year, especially during the dry season, making it one of the country’s finest wildlife-viewing destinations. During your game drive, you may encounter: African elephants Lions Giraffes Zebras Buffaloes Wildebeest Various antelope species Warthogs Ostriches More than 550 species of birds A picnic lunch will be served inside the national park. After the safari, you will continue to The Castle Lodge (or similar). Check-in. Dinner. Overnight stay. Day 2. Ngorongoro Crater Early morning wake-up. At 05:30 AM, you will depart for the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive just as the conservation area opens, when the first rays of sunlight illuminate the crater rim, revealing one of Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes. After a short stop at the viewpoint, you will descend almost 600 metres into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World, Ngorongoro Crater is home to more than 25,000 large mammals, making it one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere in Africa. Thanks to this remarkable density of animals, Ngorongoro is widely regarded as one of the best safari destinations on the continent. During your game drive, you may encounter: Lions African elephants Cape buffaloes Hippopotamuses Spotted hyenas Jackals Zebras Blue wildebeest Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles Warthogs Ostriches Flamingos at Lake Magadi And, with a little luck, the rare black rhinoceros. One of Ngorongoro’s greatest advantages is that most of its wildlife remains inside the crater year-round, offering one of Africa’s best opportunities to spot the legendary Big Five during a single safari. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor, surrounded by spectacular African scenery. After the safari, you will return to Arusha. Overnight stay at Shoki Shoki House or a similar hotel. Dinner. Day 3. Serval Wildlife After breakfast, you will depart for Serval Wildlife, one of Tanzania’s most unique wildlife experiences. Here you will enjoy extraordinary close encounters with African animals in a beautifully designed natural environment.
